Should credit card companies post a message about interest rate increases on their website?
If you are a member of a certain credit card and use the online features, should they be obliged to tell you about the interest rates going up. I just received a letter in the mail saying about the interest rates going up, but I do not see anything about it on the website. And they want me to go paperless? Credit card companies are scamming us BIG!

- Well a new law was passed which is suppose to stop things like that from happening but it won't take effect until summer 2010. It's just something you got to expect when you use credit cards because credit cards are businesses to and it's not there job to hand out credit to people and get nothing in return for it.
- Credit card companies have a variety of cards with different terms and conditions. The accounts are not ones size fits all. It is very unlikely that every account is having the interest raised, especially to the same rate. Account holder's credit worthiness determines what interest rate and credit limit.
